Simi Valley, CA Reviews  By John G from Moorpark, CA Posted Jun 11, 2014 July 2013 Dana the sole owner/operator of Advance Fence Company put my neighbors fence in and while installing theirs attached to my corner post and CUT my chain links without my permission. 10/2/13 He came out to put a new end post in for my neighbor and while out finally admitted to cutting my fence and said he'd fix it that weekend. 10/23/13 Called him and he said he hasn't been in the area but stated he would be out to fix it. 11/13/13 Called and left a message on his voice mail. Left name, MHPark name, space #, phone #. He never called back. 12/10/13 Saw him next door (figured he was going to finish my neighbors fence after 5 months and fix mine as he stated). He saw the neighbor finished it on his own then he took off. He was here maybe 2 minutes and took off never contacting me at all. I Went on walk 10 min. later and saw him at his fathers house and Said hi and we waived. I walked around to the front of the houses to talk about the situation but he made a beeline to his truck and took off before I got there. I called him that night and he stated he didn't have the chance to fix my fence and still stated he would still fix it. I asked him by when, end of the week? End of the year? He said the end of the year. 6/10/2014 In conclusion: 1)He admitted to vandalizing my fence 10/2/13. 2)Stated he would fix it THREE TIMES (10/2, 10/23 & 12/10) to no avail. 3)A man is only as good as his word. 4)According to websit http://www.cslb.ca.gov/ his Contractors license has been EXPIRED for over 5 YEARS. I would most definitely NOT EVER hire this guy again. By John G from Moorpark, CA Posted Jan 30, 2014 July 2013 Dana Schwab (Advance Fence Company) put my neighbors fence in and while installing theirs attached to my corner post and CUT my chain links WITHOUT MY PERMISSION. Cutting over 26% of the chain link from top to bottom, 4 of 15. Neighbor did NOT give him permission to do so. 10/2/13 He came out to put a new end post in for my neighbor and while out finally admitted to cutting my fence on purpose and said he'd fix it that weekend but didn't. While putting in neighbors fence post he also cemented in our chain links AFTER he said he would fix our fence. 10/23/13 Called him and he said he hasn't been in the area but stated he would be out to fix it. 11/13/13 Called and left a message on his voice mail. Left name, MHPark name, space #, phone #. He never called back. 12/10/13 Saw him next door and he took off within a few minutes NOT fixing my fence as he stated he would do back on 10/2 & 10/23. Called him that night and again he said he'd fix it this time by the end of the year to no avail. It's 1/26/14.
